The Pens won 5-0, goals were scored by Crosby, Armstrong, Malone, Staal, and Whitney.  Fleury posted the shutout. Pittsburgh has the week off until the Dallas Stars come to town on Friday.

For the second game in a row the Pens scored five goals, the majority of which have not come form Crosby or Malkin.

Fleury did not allow a goal. I hope he can build on this performance.

Colby Armstrong keeps getting points since his return from the press box.

It is incredibly important that the Pens kept rolling after an emotional double-come-from-behind shootout victory vs. Ottawa on Thursday. (there’s no way the verb tense is right there?)  The last two games point towards a turnaround from the mediocrity that has plagued the early part of this Penguins season.

I don’t have much else to write about the Thrashers game as I had to work last night. I’m glad the Penguins “Thrashed” em, get it “thrashed”, ha ha I wonder how many articles included some variation of that sweet pun.
