I’m getting nervous. right now the Pens are only 2 points out of first in the East, but are also only 6 ahead of the 8th place Philadelphia Cryers.

Boston is on fire, they are like the Devils of the mid 90’s-aside from the Cups, so maybe they just trap and rely on solid goal tending, and a bunch of opportunistic scorers and young guys you’ve never heard of.

This is truly the year of the Injury Walrus. Marian Hossa played all of 2 periods before the Penguins deadline deal went from amazing to terrible. Now lacking depth, for the next 7-10 days the pens are relying on one line and Jordan Stall, Max Talbot, and the SWB Baby Pens A-team to grind out points and stay in the thick of the race for the 1 or 2 seed while the Pens get healthy again.

It’s a scheduling gift the Pens play the Southeast before playing home and home series’ with the rest of the Atlantic to end the season.
